We’ve partnered with the City of Peterborough to bring the very first skate camp to the kids of Peterborough. Our crew of local volunteers will be running activities and sessions with young skaters throughout the day, with a focus on teaching the basics of skateboarding, while building towards the confidence to start stomping tricks. With a beautiful new skatepark at Bonnerworth Park our feet, including obstacles for every age and ability, there’s no shortage of fun to be had, friends to make and memories to last all summer. Skaters of all abilities and backgrounds are welcome.
What we’ll be doing:
- Teaching the fundamentals of skateboarding
- Learning all about a skatepark
- Skill-building games and activities
- Free skate and obstacle jams
- Pump track races
- Free play in Bonnerworth Park
- Rainy day activities at McDonnell Community Centre
