About

The Bonnerworth Skatepark is actually made up of two adjoining skateparks separated by more than two decades of history.

The original skatepark (c.2002) is the beloved heart of our community. Known for gnarly, this park has played home to some incredible moments over the years. Many-a-visitor have come away empty-handed, as easy tricks can be hard to come by. But ripping locals know: if you can skate here, you can skate anywhere.

The new park opened in 2025 after many years of hard volunteer work based in strong partnerships and persistent advocacy. It was guided by a vision for a modern space that reflects today’s skateboard culture and inspires positivity and growth in our community. More accessible to all skill levels and with plenty of room to breathe, the layout features inventive obstacles and a cruisy flow that creates endless possibilities. And as an added bonus, the asphalt pump track next door helps alleviate scooter and bmx congestion. It’s also very fun to rip around…

Everyone is Welcome!

We’ve worked hard to cultivate a culture of respect and friendliness in the Peterborough skate community, and we hope you’ll find this park a welcoming environment for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. On any given day you’ll find someone friendly to skate with. Families and kids are encouraged to come join in the fun!
